Meet NORR11: Designs That Cross Eras
The most responsible product is a product that can withstand the test of time, especially when it comes to furniture. That’s why we love NORR11.
Founded in 2011, NORR11 is a design company creating timeless furniture that sparks curiosity, crossing time periods, design eras, cultures, and materials to craft pieces with character that retain form, function, and comfort. From beautifully upholstered seating to sculptural glass tables, explore notable boundary-pushing designs from the NORR11 collection.
Hippo Seating Series
Defined by soft, playful curves reminiscent of 1970s design, the Hippo Seating Series takes its name from the chair's silhouette, which mirrors the stout profile of a hippopotamus. Its unique shape encourages a variety of seating positions.
We love how its two-legged wooden profile contrasts with the soft back and seat, perfectly shaped in a production process where the foam elements are carefully cut by hand. The characteristic wooden legs come in four different oak finishes: natural, light smoked, dark smoked, and black.
The free-spirited Hippo Lounge Chair is one of NORR11's bestsellers. It perfectly suits a variety of living room and lounge spaces. It comes with the signature two-legged wooden profile, or opt for a fully upholstered version. Both come in multiple fabric options.
The Hippo series also includes Bar and Counter chairs, perfect for home kitchens or public bars and lounges.
For everyday and formal dining, the standard Hippo Chair is the perfect fit.
The Hippo Steel Chair retains the soft forms of the series, replacing oak with durable yet streamlined steel legs.
The Hippo Work Chairs offer the same design in a functional office chair, either with a 4-star swivel base or a 5-star swivel base with castors.
Enjoy the beauty and signature look of the Hippo series with the Outdoor Hippo Chair and Hippo Lounge Chair.

Naked Glass Tables
True to its name, these mouth-blown glass tables are stripped down and sculptural. There’s no hidden structure or layered components, but instead a single, see-through, and straightforward silhouette, revealing the naked truth of the design.

Naked comes in the form of a coffee table and side table with amber glass, green glass, or smoked glass. We love how the bold look of the thickened circular tabletop resting on its column-like square base is balanced by the lightness of the material.

Tilt Glass and Wood Tables
Inspired by the bold design aesthetics of the 1980s, this sleek and refined accent table series was first envisioned in polished steel and later expanded into concrete, wood, and mouth-blown glass versions. While functional and purposeful, it is also meant to spark curiosity with its striking design.

Each piece works well as a standalone piece or part of a sofa setting, drawing attention with its sculptural design that encourages relaxed, informal sitting positions.

Inspired by Art Deco lounge chairs, the Big series is an ultra-comfortable lounge collection with a soft and rounded back that invites you to nestle in and cocoon.
Both the Big Big Chair and the Little Big Chair come with either a 180-degree swivel base with a return feature or a 360-degree full swivel without return.
Both pair perfectly with the Little Big Pouf. All of these pieces bring character and life to your interior.

Elephant Seating Series
The Elephant Series is a masterful fusion of Scandinavian minimalism and the refined poise of Japanese aesthetics. Each piece in the collection—from dining and bar seating to the signature lounge chair—features a sculptural, "elephant ear" backrest that provides a gentle, embracing support.

This distinctive silhouette ensures the chair is as visually captivating from behind as it is from the front, serving as a functional piece of art in any setting. Drawing inspiration from 1950s upholstered classics, the collection offers a sophisticated canvas for premium textiles from Kvadrat and Sørensen Leather.

Whether anchoring a minimalist dining room or a quiet reading nook, the Elephant Series brings a light, organic elegance to the modern interior.

Boho Lounge Chair
Bridging two iconic decades, this eclectic lounge chair marries the fluid, organic silhouettes of the 1970s with the sharp, architectural precision of the 1980s. Its free-spirited design is more than just a seat—it’s a conversation piece that invites curiosity through its playful geometry.

Cooper Lounge Chair
Similar to the Boho Lounge Chair, the Cooper Lounge Chair is a sophisticated dialogue between eras, blending the fluid silhouettes of the 1970s with the structural precision of the 1980s. Drawing inspiration from the sleek, aerodynamic curves of classic automobiles, its form feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. This free-spirited design serves as a natural evolution of the NORR11 design aesthetic, offering a quiet familiarity that anchors any room with poise and curiosity.
Whether finished in contemporary stainless steel or heritage-inspired FSC-certified solid oak, the Cooper Lounge Chair’s frame is a deliberate nod to the brand’s DNA. The wooden version, in particular, shares a clear kinship with the iconic Mammoth and Elephant chairs, bridging the gap between NORR11’s earliest masterpieces and its future. It is a refined, sculptural piece that proves true style isn't about choosing a decade—it’s about harmonizing them.

Nomad Lounge Chair
Crafted by skilled artisans, the Nomad Lounge Chair is a Nordic twist on the traditional Moroccan wicker chair.

The large seat and back are made from two molded bamboo frames inlaid with handwoven French rattan. We love the integrated leather pillow and seat, adding comfort and dimension to the design.

Man Lounge Chair
Channeling the disciplined minimalism of 1950s Danish design, the Man Lounge Chair is a sophisticated homage to the Bauhaus movement.
Its aesthetic centers on a striking interplay between the raw steel frame and tactile canvas upholstery, creating a silhouette that feels both industrial and refined.

Soho Table Series
Inspired by and named after the architectural facades of New York City's SoHo neighborhood, this distinct table series is unified by fluted column bases supporting a thin, light tabletop, all made of travertine.

We love how the fluted base adds both tactility and visual interest, with the interplay of depth and shadows depending on how the light falls upon it.

Ghost Table Series
The elegant Ghost Side Table and Ghost Coffee Table feature three pointed legs and a concave top. We love the curve of the top, which beautifully highlights the natural qualities of the material used for the tables: aluminum.
Each table is cast in raw aluminum and left unpolished once removed from the mold, giving it a unique and rough surface texture. The raw aluminum is then powder-coated and hand-painted, giving it an alluring surface that alternates between matte and reflective.

Cubism Table Series
True to its name, this series of tables exudes the Cubism style, embracing the natural qualities and beauty of travertine stone.

Its minimalist square shape draws the eye to the material itself. Since it’s a natural stone, each piece has its own unique vein pattern and color. With three sizes and two color options, the Cubism table series can serve a variety of purposes, from a plinth in an exhibit to a coffee table in a living room.

Gear Table Series
With its robust pillars and thick tabletop, the Gear Tables are reminiscent of a sculpture from the 1950s Brutalist architectural movement. Crafted by hand through a 9-step manufacturing process, each table is also hand-painted, making each piece unique.

We love how Gear reimagines the raw power of Brutalist architecture through a refined, furniture-scale lens. By incorporating rhythmic fluting into the table legs, the design softens its inherent austerity, allowing light and shadow to create a dynamic, ever-changing sculptural effect.

The series includes a side table with a rounded top, a round coffee table, and a square coffee table.
