Store Policies

ORDER STATUS:

Upon placing an order, you will receive a system-generated confirmation email. For order updates, feel free to contact us. Most items ship within 2-4 business days however some larger items have longer lead times. Should your item require a longer delivery time we will be in touch and advise accordingly. 

RETURNS:

Please contact us should you wish to return an item. Merchandise purchased from Batten Home may be returned for full refund, if notified within 48 hours after receiving your order.  Returns must be accompanied by original receipt, in original condition and in original packaging. If we are unable to re-stock and resell your return, a 50% restocking fee will apply, so please be careful with your return and make sure it gets to us in such a way that we sent it to you. Once we receive your return we will inspect it and then credit the original card used to make the purchase minus any shipping expenses. Please be advised that you are responsible for shipping the return back to us.

PRICING ERRORS:

Sometimes we make a mistake. Sorry! If you purchase an item and we have provided incorrect information in regards to pricing, we will place your order on hold and notify you. 

CANCELLATIONS: 

To cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We try and process every order as quickly as possible and will happily cancel each order provided it has not already shipped. If an order has already left one of our warehouses, we unfortunately we have to treat your order as a return.

 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS:

If you have received an item that has been damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately.

DO NOT sign for the delivery until you have inspected it and are 100% sure that your order is in perfect condition. Batten Home will not be held responsible for items after they have been delivered and signed for.  Your signature indicates that you approved of the condition of the your shipment upon delivery.

If damage is visible, REJECT THE SHIPMENT.  Be sure the driver notes the damage and contact us as soon as possible. We will file a damage claim with the carrier, pick up the damaged item, and ship a replacement or replacement parts to you.  Replacement lead times are subject to the manufacturer’s availability. 

For shipments with visible damage at the time of delivery, PROMPTLY TAKE PHOTOS of the damaged item and the packaging and notify us immediately. DO NOT throw out any packing.

For shipments with concealed damage at the time of delivery, PROMPTLY TAKE PHOTOS of the damaged item and the packaging and notify us within 24 hours. DO NOT throw out any packing.

If you have received a damaged product that can be fixed with replacement parts, but choose to return the item rather than accept replacement parts, you will be refunded the amount of your order only.  Any costs associated with shipping the product back to us are the customer’s sole responsibility.
