Designed by Ole Flensted in 1986, the Flensted Stella Nova Mobile features soft shapes surrounding small balls, serving as a reminder that everything develops from nothing and disappears into nothing. Stella Nova is Latin for "new star." This mobile comes in yellow or red. Made by hand in Denmark with serigraphic foil.
For over 60 years, Flensted has employed "homeworkers" to assemble their mobiles. Each mobile is created in people's homes, with regular visits from Flensted to provide supplies and new mobiles in exchange for the completed ones. Almost all Flensted mobiles are lighter than a standard letter. They can be fixed to your ceiling with a tiny nail––no drills or hooks are needed.

Care Instructions: Cardboard mobiles can be very lightly dusted with a soft brush. Wood, aluminum, or plastic mobiles can be wiped with a moist cloth with a few drops of mild dishwashing detergent.
