The Colu Basket by Normann Copenhagen, designed by Belgian designer Baptiste Vandaele, offers a fresh take on everyday storage. Made from recycled PET felt—a soft yet resilient material created from used plastic bottles—the basket is lightweight, durable, and thoughtfully practical. Integrated handles make it easy to move, while its sculptural design elevates its function.

Drawing inspiration from the graceful repetition of Roman columns, the basket’s arched silhouette reflects Vandaele’s belief in form serving function. “With Colu, I wanted to challenge basic shapes, giving them rhythm and tactility while keeping them practical,” he explains.

Balancing refined aesthetics with everyday usability, the Colu Basket is ideal for holding magazines, toys, or household items, and seamlessly complements a modern interior.
