Varjo Rug
Inspired by the old herringbone hardwood floors, the MUUTO Varjo Rug features a subtle design that's also highly detailed and unique in appearance.
Made from 100% New Zealand lambs wool, the wool is firstly dyed, then each rug is woven by hand, showcasing it's unique color blocking and pattern.
Designed by Tina Ratzer, the idea was to create a geometric rug with multiple layer s and dimensions, with the first layer being an easy and understandable language and color scheme. When you go deeper, a dynamic herringbone pattern brings a new dimension and surprising twist.
