Fritz Hansen

Swan 2-Seater Sofa

$15,863

The Swan Sofa is an Arne Jacobsen original. Designed in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and reintroduced to Fritz Hansen’s collection in 2000, the design contains no straight lines, making it organic and soft to the eye despite its simplicity and strong architectural appeal.

The Swan Sofa shell is made of polyurethane foam with glass fiber reinforcement. The shell is upholstered with cold-cured foam and covered with fabric or leather. The shaker base is made of molded aluminum. The two parts of the base are connected with an aluminum rail, which is screwed onto the bottom of the sofa with 2 M6 screws in each shaker base. The feet are provided with synthetic black-grey leg ferrules.
