Series 7 Chair - 7:14 AM Edition

Fritz Hansen celebrates 70 years of Arne Jacobsen’s iconic Series 7 Chair with the limited-edition 7:14 AM release, available exclusively in 2025. Inspired by the soft light of a Danish autumn morning, the Series 7 Chair is reimagined in five delicate pastel hues designed to complement a wide range of interior styles.

A new Rainbow base debuts alongside the palette—crafted from zinc chromate-coated steel, the frame features a transparent, golden rainbow effect that subtly reveals the raw steel beneath. Over time, it develops a unique patina, adding character to each piece.

The legs extend just beyond the edge of the seat, making the chairs easy to align in rows or stack for storage (up to 12 chairs). The base and legs are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat, further enhancing the clean, minimal aesthetic of Jacobsen’s design. The 7:14 AM edition brings a poetic, contemporary update to a Scandinavian classic.
