Fritz Hansen

Orient Pendant

The Fritz Hansen Orient Pendant was first designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963 and relaunched by Fritz Hansen in 2013. Revitalized in close collaboration with the Hammerborg family, the Orient Pendant is a flawless light design made from the finest quality materials. The pendant's organically shaped shade made of aluminum or copper is connected to the cord with a delicate wooden joint and gives a soft, pleasant light without any glare.

An iconic name in the Nordic design world, Fritz Hansen is an internationally celebrated interior design brand with a wide range of furniture, lighting, and accessories. Since its founding in Copenhagen in 1872, Fritz Hansen has shaped Danish design as we know it, collaborating with visionaries including Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm, and Hans J. Wegner. In its first 50 years, Fritz Hansen designed furniture for the Danish Parliament and Supreme Court at Christiansburg Palace, the University Library, and Copenhagen City Hall.

Later on, Fritz Hansen collaborated with contemporary designers including Cecilie Manz and Jaime Hayon. Fritz Hansen's designs are characterized by exceptional craftsmanship, unique design, and the highest quality made to last.
