A Danish design classic that dates back to 1936, the Shoemaker Chair No.78 by Form and Refine is to this day, still produced by Form and Refine's local Joinery. An eye catching design, whose seat is still produced out of one solid piece of wood and due to the nature the materials, every chair is unique. With its perfectly turned legs and iconic "T" stabilization connection, the Shoemaker Chair makes a beautiful statement with strong Nordic design reference.
The construction of the Shoemaker chair is quite difficult, as each block has to be carved to perfection, as this process is what makes the chair so comfortable. Each chair is then hand sanded by hand and then finished in 5 different options.
