Metamorphosis Mobile

The Flensted Metamorphosis Mobile, designed by Ole Flensted in 1998, is an interactive hanging sculpture that lets you shape its form and cast dynamic shadows. Ideal for any room, it brings both artistic flair and playful movement to your living space, bedroom, kitchen, or office.

For over 60 years, Flensted has employed "homeworkers" to assemble their mobiles. Each mobile is created in people's homes, with regular visits from Flensted to provide supplies and new mobiles in exchange for the completed ones. Almost all Flensted mobiles are lighter than a standard letter. They can be fixed to your ceiling with a tiny nail––no drills or hooks are needed.

Care Instructions: Cardboard mobiles can be very lightly dusted with a soft brush. Wood, aluminum, or plastic mobiles can be wiped with a moist cloth with a few drops of mild dishwashing detergent.
