Kelim Rug Merge
The Ferm Living Kelim Rug in Merge redefines traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with a design aesthetic with a strong sense for geometric shapes and modern styling.
The weaving technique is called 'Punja' loom - a traditional, manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques known to rug making. The wool yarn is hand-dyed, and some shade variation may occur due to the nature of wool and dye. The Kelim weave and the wool yarns have a unique, coarse feel. This is part of the characteristic of traditional kelim rugs.
Also Available: Kelim Cushion Merge, Kelim Runner Merge
Please Note: Each rug is hand made and the weaving from rug to rug may differ slightly.
