The R16 Slotsholmen Cushion from FDB Møbler brings new life to a storied Danish textile. Originally developed in the Royal Military Clothing Factory as a durable horse rug for the Danish armed forces, the fabric was reimagined in the 1970s as upholstery for Danish design furniture, quickly becoming a celebrated export. Now produced by Danish Art Weaving, the fabric returns in collaboration with FDB Møbler, preserving a rich heritage while offering comfort and character to contemporary interiors.
