C64 Shaker Dining Table

Originally designed by Børge Mogensen in 1950, the FDB Møbler C64 Shaker Dining Table reflects his lifelong dedication to honest, functional design. Likely due to its bold, cross-shaped legs that challenged the manufacturing capabilities of the time, the C64 Shaker Table was never produced during his lifetime. The table was later brought to life by FDB Møbler as a timeless response to evolving design trends.

Its distinctive underframe, tucked neatly beneath the tabletop, gives the piece a sense of lightness while maximizing legroom. The clean rectangular surface, with softly rounded edges, is both practical and inviting. The table is available in two different widths, offering flexibility to suit a variety of spaces. Rooted in Mogensen’s philosophy that furniture should adapt to people and not the other way around, the C64 remains a striking example of enduring Danish design.
