Designed in 1961, the Ry Armchair features voluminous upholstery and exceptional comfort. Sven Ivar Dysthe designed Ry to be efficient in production, with the Ry Dining Chair and Ry Armchair having mostly similar parts. The subtle detail of the connection between the backrest and the horizontal leg stretcher exemplifies the brilliance of Dysthe’s design.
