Relaunched by Dusty Deco in 2023 with the approval of Svedberg’s descendants, it honors the timeless design while bringing it into the modern home. The sofa features a solid beech frame, complemented by springs and layered foam in the seat for exceptional comfort. This version is upholstered in luxurious, durable mohair with a rich, deep pile.
First introduced in 1937 for the Swedish pavilion at the World Exhibition in Paris, the sofa was part of an interior co-created with designer and textile artist Astrid Sampe. It was later exhibited in Warsaw in 1938 and Malmö in 1939. The Paris Sofa exemplifies Swedish Modern design, a style celebrated worldwide for its elegant simplicity and enduring appeal.
