The Københavner Glazed Pot is one of Bergs Potter’s earliest and most iconic designs, rooted in Danish royal history. Its form is inspired by 19th-century pottery originally created for the Royal Danish Palace of Fredensborg in 1860.
After discovering antique clay pots at a former nursery, Steffen Berg reinterpreted the historic design, giving new life to its classic proportions. Today, the Københavner Pot remains a signature of the brand, still handcrafted in small, family-run workshops using traditional methods.
Available in a wide range of sizes, each pot is finished with a hand-applied glaze in nuanced tones drawn from the historic color palette of Copenhagen—bringing a sense of refined, understated elegance to any plant.
