The Asano Paper Moon 2, designed by Shigeru Uchida, is a handcrafted Washi table lamp made in Japan’s Gifu prefecture, where artisans have perfected paper lanterns for 90 years. Its delicate structure features a simple wire frame supporting a spiral of bamboo filament and high-quality Washi paper, creating a soft, warm glow. Flat-packed and gift-boxed, unboxing the lamp is a graceful experience, reminiscent of unfolding fine silk.
