Børge Mogensen's series of dining tables, inspired by the functionalist furniture tradition of American Shaker culture, reflects his dedication to practical elegance and craftsmanship. The 6286 table, designed in 1964, is the last in this range and stands out for its solid oak construction and larger dimensions, resulting in an exclusive, majestic character. This user-friendly mechanism allows one person to easily add two extra seats or additional space, with the extra tabletop neatly stored under the table when not in use. JG Tables

The JG Table, available in both round and square options, reflects designer Jørgen Gammelgaard’s vision of creating a simple yet elegant design with an open, supportive structure that maximizes seating around the table.
