The way in which it opens with a leather strap is an important element of interaction with the bench.” And now, Jonas unveils a bit behind the design of the A-Line Shoe Racks: "The aim with this shoe rack was to design a piece of furniture that can store enough pairs of shoes without taking up too much space. At the same time our wish was to utilise the height of the shoe rack for a functional shelf.” We love Form & Refine's reinterpretation of classic storage and essentials that still feel timeless. Form and Refine worked with Finnish born designer Jonas Lutz on this shelf. Lutz intended to strike a balance between aesthetics, stability and packability, and we think he achieved it perfectly. The shallow yet spacious Taper Wall Shelf has a delicate appearance that remains sturdy thanks to the use of steel.”The design of the steel shelf unit began with the bent corners, which were intended both to frame the shelves, like a closed case, and act as the structure of the unit. The bent edges of the individual components soften the visual appearance of the hard steel and make it possible to minimize the thickness of the elements.”We love it for skincare in a bathroom, dishware in the dining room, or a place to rest accessories and display objects in a hallway.
