Gus Modern

Foundry Chaise

$2,370

The Gus* Modern Foundry Chaise is part of the Foundry Upholstery series, a minimalist series inspired by elements of classic Scandinavian design. Signature characteristics include the extra slender fightback frame and a seat cushion that appears to be floating above the cylindrical powder-coated steel legs. The steel-reinforced FSC-certified wood frame ensures durability in high-traffic spaces in commercial settings or in a busy home. Foundry upholstery options include fabric and leather. The removable seat cushion securely attaches to the base by hook and loop fasteners. The Foundry Chaise includes the Foundry Chair and Foundry Ottoman.

Foundry features a no‐Sag, sinuous spring suspension system. The bottom of the legs features a non-marking levelers to adjust for stability on uneven floor surfaces.

Due to the nature of leather, each piece may have distinct surface characteristics, natural markings, grain pattern and color variations. Surface scratches and wear marks on leather are normal and to be expected. Over time, the marks will contribute to the unique patina and visual charm of the design. Scratches and wear marks may be minimized with the use of leather conditioner. With all leather products, some stretching over time is normal. This "working in" of the leather only adds to the comfort, softness and character of the design.
