Bibliotheque Nationale Floor Lamp

Biblioteque, the French word for library, is the perfect description of this unique floor lamp that serves as a modern bookshelf with a convenient spot to charge portable devices. The base, stand, and diffuser are made from chrome-plated die cast zinc.

Shade finish options include aluminized bronze, aluminized silver, fumée, plissé cloth, or transparent. The base includes a USB charging outlet compatible with most smartphones.

Designed by Phillippe Starck and introduced in 2013, he describes it as “a magic bookcase where books take flight towards the light.”
