Foku Chair

Inspired by the shapes of traditional Japanese garden tools, the 101 Copenhagen Foku Chair is a fully upholstered lounge chair made of simple geometric shapes merged into a sculptural furniture design. Foku, Japanese for fork, is a reference to the traditional rake tools used in Japanese Zen gardens. The fork, used to gently create minimalistic lines and waves in the sand, can be seen through the chair's fluted seat of the Foku chair.

To ensure a soft and highly comfortable seating experience, several layers of carefully chosen foam types are combined, emphasizing the sculptural and voluminous shape. Foku comes in an Off-White Bouclé and a Taupe fabric from Sunproof. The Taupe Sunproof fabric is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
