About Bergs Potter
Bergs Potter is a Danish brand with its roots in Copenhagen in 1942, when a young accountant named Victor Berg inherited a ceramics shop full of plant pots in the Nørrebro neighborhood. During the war he started selling flowers alongside the clay pots, hoping to bring some joy to his neighbors. The company is still family-owned today. The pots are made in Tuscany, Italy, by skilled potters working with premium Italian clay fired at high temperatures. The raw terracotta pieces are made from clay and nothing else, and develop a natural patina over time.
