The Ray Floor Lamp features a contemporary update on a classic diffuser shape. It features a lathe-shaped aluminum diffuser painted white on the inside with a shiny black or white finish, or a gray-colored blown and overlaid glass with a glossy external finish. Liquid paint protection preserves its glossy appearance.
"The stand that supports the light source is an elementary structure," says designer Rodolfo Dordoni. “It is part lighthouse, part power pylon."
The Ray Floor Lamp, introduced in 2006, features a dimmer switch on the cord offering 0-100% dimming adjustment.
