The 101 Copenhagen Sumo Vase series is a celebration of the human form. Named after the Japanese sport Sumo, all vases are voluminous in size and shape while resting atop narrow pointed legs. Each vase has a unique opening compared to the traditional narrow vase opening, offering a new perspective on a classic piece that questions our perceptions of the shape of a vase. Each vase from the Sumo series can be styled alone as an artistic object while looking cohesive when styled with the entire family of vases.
Since it is glazed by hand, colors may vary slightly, making each vase unique. Though not 100% waterproof, a bag for housing fresh flowers is included. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
